The Scent of Love; Trésor

What comes to mind when you think of Lancome? White roses? Or are the beautiful stars of the world who have become the face of the brand? Many will also tell you a favorite cosmetics from the brand. So could it be a perfume? For example, Trésor.

Born in 1990, Trésor is the fruit of an era in which women rediscover love, freedom and themselves. The perfume, created by Nose Sophia Grasjman, is cited as one of the rare fragrances that has managed to be timeless in the history of cosmetics. Of course, the memorable points have a great share in not succumbing to time. The Otto rose, which hits the nose as soon as it is smelled, represents the spirit of the perfume, although after a few minutes the sweet aroma of peach and vanilla leaves its place to the unique freshness of the iris flower, blending at the bottom with the spicy scents of amber, musk and sandalwood. We feel basically the same scent in Trésor Elixir, which was produced in limited numbers in 2007, or Trésor in Love, created last year in honor of the perfume’s 20th anniversary. The bottle of perfume is just as valuable as its scent. Created in the 1950s, the original Trésor bottle by Georges Delhomme was reinterpreted for perfume in the 90s, without losing much from a hand-polished diamond form with 75 faces. The crystalline silhouette, resembling an inverted pyramid, represents the woman with its rounded lines, while the ring on the neck of the bottle represents devotion and love. While love is the main theme of perfume, we witness the birth of unforgettable commercials, each of which tastes like a love movie, set in Paris.

Love women smelling Trésor

Tresor is unforgettable with the ambassadors it chooses as much as its scent. We watched short love films with Parisian decor, each of which was shot with beautiful famous names. Isabella Rosellini was the first to appear in front of Peter Lindbegh’s camera. Then the Spanish beauty, actress and model Ines Sastre took over the flag. Satre’s glowing brown eyes and pearly white smile are still remembered when she meets the man she loves. In 2007, we watched the famous British actress Kate Winslet on the streets of Paris. Last year, another Spaniard, Penolope Cruz, appeared before us. In the same year, French actress Elettra Wiedeman was present in the promotional film of Tresor in Love, created for the 20th anniversary of the brand. This protagonist of a younger and perhaps a little more mischievous love story was none other than Isabella Rosellini’s daughter.

Another woman another story

We’ll meet another new version of Tresor in October. We will witness a new love story with Tresor Midnight Rose. This time, Otto rose will add special flavors such as sweet apple, mouth-watering fruits such as raspberry, currant buds. The new hero of the young and romantic love story is Hollywood’s rising star Emma Watson. We look forward to trying the romantic scent of Tresor Midnight, wondering how she’ll look for love while Michael Portal and Philippe Briche’s amazing music is on the rise.
