Josie’s Reports from Greece

There’s nothing like going on vacation with the right couple. But it is necessary to choose the right pair. Otherwise, when you say it was single, it was double, things can get messy.

CALIMER! Even though we are facing the unstoppable rise of the Greek Islands, I have turned my holiday route not to an island but to Athens, Greece.

I don’t know how wise it is to visit the city in this heat when there is a chance to sail out to the green seas with white sand. I intended to go to Greece.

Our soul couple

While we were planning our vacation in Greece, we discussed the issue of having a couple vacation with my boyfriend. As my mother’s words “You know a person best on vacation” ringing in my ears, I decided not to call anyone at the end of our sweet conversation, which started with “We have a lot of fun with the main things, let’s call them!”. We were enough for each other. Just then, when a couple we love called us, we forgot everything we talked about two seconds ago and said, “This must be a sign,” and told them about the holiday we had in mind Greece. In the middle of summer, when the sun’s rays are at their strongest, we wanted to visit Greece instead of a sea vacation. They said that they liked our half-witted idea very much and wanted to be included in our program. The girl is sweet, the boy is sweet. Who knows, maybe we’ve found our “soul couple”.

Everyone should see the center of Greece

We had no problems with choosing the hotel. The Grand Bretagne Hotel in the center of Greece was the perfect fit for us. We organized our most convenient flight tickets and met at the airport. We tried to fit in a medium-size suitcase so that we wouldn’t carry a lot of stuff Greece. The couple we were going to go to tailgate came with a big suitcase, each my size. Well, everyone had their own understanding of suitcases.

Greece, where we landed with a smile, welcomed us very warmly. It was almost 40 degrees. We immediately threw ourselves into Zonar’s Bistro next to the hotel and ordered our cold coffees. By the way, cold coffee was something like the national drink of the Greece. It had only been an hour since we arrived in Greece and we were in a good mood. The man of the couple we came with started to tell the history of Greece little by little. We listened to him with interest and gained important information. Then he began to describe Greece street by street. Even though a part went to our poor, we listened to that part as well. He stated between the lines how much he loved this city Greece, that he had no ties to the city. Then, when we started to give details such as the apartment number, we were confused about the situation. His wife must have been preoccupied, and he asked, “When was the last time you came to Athens, Greece?” And it turns out that the boy used to have a Greece lover. Lightning falling on the house, come and light it from here.

Past is past. On the name, it’s over. Everyone should respect that. But on a vacation, it’s not nice to listen to the past of the person you love while wandering around in your mouth.

An unoccupied island Greece

Following Zonar’s, we went for a walk in Plaka, the heart of Athens, and they went to the hotel to fight. The waters had calmed down a bit in Kuzina, which has modern Greece cuisine, where we met for dinner.

The next day we decided to go to Hydra Island, which is 1.5 hours away from Greece by ferry. It was a very elegant, yet unconsumed island. We were stationed at the restaurant called Sunset, which overlooks the island. While we were trying to talk about other things, the other party was questioning whether her husband had a memory on this island. As the sun went down, the interrogation was still going on Greece.

The couple we are looking for is not available

The couple we were looking for on the last day could not be reached. No, not because they were arguing, but because they wanted to make up and spend the day at the hotel spa. Rejoicing for them, we made our way to the Acropolis Museum without further digging into the event. It’s really a great museum to see. Afterwards, we went to the Acropolis and soaked up the history and took a breather at the fisherman named Varoulko in Mikrolimano. No such taste. Celebrity chef Lefteris Lazarous works wonders. After Varoulko, we sat on a bench in Syntagma Square and watched the parliament building with our cold coffees in hand.

The lesson I learned from our Greece vacation was that there is nothing like going on a vacation with a couple that suits you. But it is necessary to choose the right pair. Otherwise, things can get messy when you are single or double.

The past has passed and its name is over. But it is not a pleasant situation to listen to the past of the person you love while you are on vacation, hanging around your ears.
