Presenting its 2021 Spring / Summer collection as part of Milan Fashion Week, Valentino chose not Paris this year, but its own lands, as creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli wanted to support his country. The new collection includes pieces that will re-express the brand’s identity. Pierpaolo Piccioli argues that this must be a perspective on life, while the breeze of romance shows itself dominantly. Along with chiffon blouses, blazers and fluid long dresses, there is another piece of the collection that stands out. That is Levi’s 517 jeans.

For the Valentino Collezione Milano fashion show, Pierpaolo Piccioli adheres to the unique style of the 517 and incorporates it into the boundaries of the brand with a different spirit. Created for both men and women, this new jean has a special label designed to celebrate the start of the collaboration. Levi’s 517’s stance, which has become a universal uniform associated with youth and independence, thus carries its power to the next level through high fashion.
