In the next world, I will be asked the question “Why weren’t you Zusya?” rather than “Why weren’t you Moses?”

Ever since I was a kid, I never wanted to be myself. I always wanted to be Billy Widdledon, but Billy Widdledon didn’t even like me. I walked like him, talked like him, and went to the high school he went to.

That’s why Billy Widdledon has changed. He’s starting to look like Herby Vandeman, too. He walked like him, talked like him now. This situation confused me a lot. I walked and talked like Billy Widdledon, who walked and talked like Herby Vanderman.

That’s when I realized that Herby Vanderman was walking and talking like Joey Haverlin. He walked and talked like Corky Sabinson in Joey Haverlin.

And I was trying to be a Billy Widdledon copy imitating Herby Vanderman trying to sound like Haverlin imitating Corky Sabinson gait and speech. So who do you think Corky Sabinson talked and walked like? Just like Dopey Wellington, who walks and talks like me!

If the person you want to be isn’t your mother, you don’t have to be your mother. You don’t have to be your grandmother’s mother, your mother’s mother’s mother, or even your grandmother’s mother. Your chin, hips, or eyes may resemble them, but you are not destined to resemble these women who have lived before you. If you need to take some traits from these women, take their strengths. Because in life you become the person you always wanted to be.

When I’m a champion, I’m going to put on my old jeans, wear an old hat, grow a beard, take a walk through the streets of a town where no one knows me, and walk until I find someone who will love me just for who I am. And then I’ll take him to my $250,000 home overlooking my one million dollar estate, show him my Caillac cars, my indoor pool on rainy days, and say, “Here, honey, it’s all yours because you love me for who I am.”
